Activities: visit to old Chapels (Capilla de Candonga) and Jesuit States (Jesus Maria and Colonia Caroya), trekking, agricultural tourism in Jesús María, Wine, cheese and salami tastings in Colonia Caroya, visit Buffo Chappel, Dique la Quebrada.
BUFFO CHAPPEL
In Cordoba you can visit the Capilla de Buffo Chapel, located in Villa Leonor , whose construction was done by request of the Italian immigrant Guido Buffo, an art and science lover, on behalf of his deceased wife and daughter. The Chapel has a peculiar architectonical style.Buffo moved to Cordoba hills so as to improve his wife and daughter disease, tuberculosis. Cordoba hills are well known for its fresh and pure air.
Dique La Quebrada – Hidrica Reserve “Los Guindos” Hiking Trail
Tucked away in the hills of the area known as La Quebrada there is a beautiful hiking trail that leads you to a breath-taking waterfall where in summer you can take a swim in the cool water.
This hike is very easy to do and takes about 2 hours in total. It is a great way to spend an afternoon here in Cordoba.
If you have a tent and are looking to camp, you can also stop at the camping area that you see along the way and ask to speak to the park ranger; however it is camping area that has no amenities.
How to get there:
Take the bus at the main bus terminal that says La Quebrada
Ask the driver to let you off at the “Dique” which is the “Dam” that you will see and one of the last stops the bus makes.
Get off the bus and follow the road up and around until you see a little lake and an area that has a restaurant where you can also go Trout Fishing. The indications to the trail are limited so it is best to ask someone or the Park Ranger in the area for the “Camino a la Cascada”.

This area offers its history, landscapes and adventures. The “Los Comechingones” hill offers a lot of outdoor activities to enjoy, like rural tourism.
Most important spots to visit: Alpa Corral, Achiras, Inti Yaco, Las Albahacas.
Activities: trekking, campings, fishing.
